At 14, I found myself in the world of entrepreneurship – a geeky kid with a knack for business. I spent my days knocking on doors till my knuckles were sore, pitching photography packages. The money was good, but to make more I had to expand my territory, which, at that age, I wasn't keen on. It wasn't just the 10-cent bus fare; it was the isolation of door to door sales.

By 16, I'd already endured more than most teens, escaping a physically and mentally abusive home. To pay the bills in high school, my first job was at an ice cream store which was short lived. Their idea that I should clean bathrooms without any pay left me feeling disrespected and undervalued. That experience rekindled my entrepreneurial spirit.

Back to the streets I went, this time armed with a team, selling encyclopedias. It paid my bills and afforded my potatoes for a while, but life on the road was tough.

Eventually, I found my niche apprenticing as a hairdresser. Renting a chair meant I could be my own boss, and that path led me into a brick-and-mortar business ownership after earning a 100% aesthetics diploma.

I marveled at how someone's confidence changed after teaching them a small tweak in their self-care regime. I liked caring for people. So, I kept at it for 10 years until I married and had my beautiful son. That created a desire in me to be a SAHM. I took on a role as a special needs caregiver (to this very day) and alongside that, down the Internet rabbit hole I went, looking for ways to make money online.

Over two decades, I've built businesses in drop-shipping, blogging, and even authored 17

Christian romance books. It's been a journey of self-discovery, resilience, and constant learning.

I've come full circle in what seems an irony... I am a "walking encyclopedia" but for the Internet.
